Hi! I’m Katherine -

I have a husband I adore, two grown kids I look forward to spending time with, and a real fondness and compelling desire to help people experience a better life within their own homes.

If you are like many of us, for years – your focus has been outward – building a career and raising a family.  All wonderful!  Although, it’s likely - somewhere along the way, your home became a backdrop to a busy life rather than a sanctuary tailored to YOU.

That’s where I come in.  As a designer, I balance vision with a love for the details, and I work right alongside you to bring your home’s next chapter to life.  I take the weight of the project completely off your shoulders.

My creativity, attention to detail, and skills in problem solving were refined with professional experiences in education, advertising and business.  As our kids grew older, the opportunity came to pursue my interest in interior design.  It wasn’t long before I graduated with honors, found myself losing all track of time with design projects for friends and family, and turned my “what if…” into Katherine Josephine Designs.

Interest in helping people is my nature.  The pull toward enhancing their lives through gorgeous architecture, interior finishes, and furniture is something that has flourished increasingly within me. 

I am so happy that God blessed me with a family I love so much.  Friends I delight in. And even more – He has given me a love of beautiful design, a proclivity for generating ideas, skill in managing the details – and remarkable tradespeople, artisans, and clients to bring my contributions into reality.
