Hi! I’m Katherine -

I have a husband I adore, two grown kids I can’t wait to spend time with, and a real fondness and compelling desire to help people experience a better life within their own homes. 

I have professional experiences outside of interior design and a degree with honors in Interior Design.  My creativity, attention to detail, and skills in problem solving were refined with experiences in academia, advertising, and business. 

My interest in helping people is my nature. My focus on timeless, stylish interiors evolved from appreciation of classic elegance, fine craftsmanship, and modern simplicity.

Deep appreciation for the true value of a comfortable, beautiful home came later.

When our kids went off to college, my husband and I undertook a major home renovation of our own – recreating our kitchen, dining and living room.

During that time, we were displaced to a home office, bedroom, and garage.  Comfort and functionality in everyday living became trials.   Suddenly, preparing meals and the clean-up after, visiting with our adult children when they stopped by our home, and entertaining family and friends became difficult.  Despite all the inevitable challenges - I loved the process of transformation as much as the results!

Though I’ve loved beautiful design my entire life, this experience of coming to the other side of serious home renovation profoundly changed my perception of home. 

A lovely, functional home is integral to emotional and mental health!   It brings lightness to life!

A home is a place to relax, refresh and recharge.  A place to laugh and learn.  A place for romance and connection.  A place to entertain.  A place that reveals your personality, interests, and values.
